MOON IN SCORPIO
SHADOW KEEPER!
The Moon in Scorpio sets the tone for the week, bringing themes around truth, power, and control. Scorpio is the area within the cosmos that deals with secrets and metamorphosis. It’s that place where things go, when you’d rather hide, instead of, deal. When you pack too much stuff inside, it’s only a matter of time before it implodes and destruction ensues.
You can think of Scorpio like radiation, or some other chemical compound that in a certain environment is rendered safe or neutralized. When that environment becomes compromised, that’s when it gets deadly and destructive.
Ruled by Mars, the planet of our motivation, energy, and strength, and Pluto, the planet of rude awakenings, hades, and destruction, the week can center around dealing with matters as they arise instead of suppressing them.
Scorpio energy is fixed, it aims to preserve what is, it sticks and clings to the power it possesses. Scorpio’s energy brings the need for certainty, knowledge, and truth; it's where the power lies.
The Moon in Scorpio provides the courage required to journey into the dark, to face the fears that hide in the shadows. Scorpio governed by Mars represents the passion, motivation, and tenacity to see a mission through. It’s the three things required for each of us to accomplish our goals.
Mars is a soldier, he doesn’t kill because he enjoys it, he does so to fulfill his purpose in protecting his people. The art of war is Scorpio’s forte. Mars is unpredictable, skilled, and prepared to take action. Mars is our motivation, it’s always ready, continually training towards a mission and purpose.
Moon in Scorpio is bringing your awareness to something you’ve been repressing. It shows you an ugly truth, the icy cold reality of something that needs to change and now. Scorpio is Ice, it’s deadly but contains within it deep psychic insight. It’s one of the most intuitive signs and the Moon journeying here is not for the faint of heart.
It’s not something you want, but something that befalls you, out of duty and honor. Scorpio is intoxicating, scary, it’s our shade, where the darkest parts of ourselves are made. It feeds on control, power, and winning.
When the Moon is in Scorpio, we become a lot more intense, feelings are heightened and truth seeps out into the open. It awakens us to our truth, to buried things and desires. It creates an opening for healing to commence if only you’re willing to venture into those dark spaces.
So, when we deal with Scorpio energy, we deal with the truth behind all that keeps us stuck, powerless, controlled, and obedient. Scorpio is fixed, meaning it keeps things as they are; only like most Ice, it melts if not temperature controlled.
The week, therefore, beginning in Scorpio is sure to bring change and revelations your way. It’s an energy that will address matters of security, protection, control, addiction, and the list can go on.
Scorpio rules addictions, liberation, control, and power-play dynamics. You see, Scorpio picks up on the hidden and the more carnal nature of a person. It seeks to know what lies behind the mask you wear so well, he seeks to trade in secrets, power, and influence.
When the Moon is in Scorpio we become a lot more aware of the subtleties. Temptations arise, the desire to take shortcuts and make a deal with the devil, so to speak. It’s reading between the lines, tune in to the world around us, and all that goes unsaid.
When you think of Scorpions (the creature), you think of them as being untrustworthy, tricksters, and deadly. Scorpions are pretty poisonous, they’re survivalist and not above sexual cannibalism. Scorpions are arachnids, and their symbolism is tied to all things we fear. They’re sensitive to light, reside in the dark, hide under rocks, in the sand, and live in deserts and caves. They’re mostly solitary; some can even live up to 800m underground.
A week beginning under the Scorpio, bringing the energy of both Pluto & Mars is sure to awaken you to a forgotten truth. Perhaps a secret will surface or the past will re-emerge. What’s clear is it will bring a change, awakening, and truth calling for action.
SWATI
THE PROJECTED REALITY!
The week begins under Swati, the Lunar mansion of projected reality. It’s fun to live in imagined worlds of our own creations, as long as we don’t fall victim to it, then becoming lost. Swati is about awakening to the reality of the matrix, whatever illusion holds you captive.
It’s about observing your environment and ensuring you’re living and creating your own reality. That you’re not living in someone else's. Swati is the independent star, the unique experience, and to be who you are, and support others individuality in kind.
A week beginning under this nakshatra can feel scattered, unfocused, and will bring a constant air of changing circumstances. Swati brings the energy of Rahu and Venus. To bring our most taboo, far out, and futuristic visions to life, and then immerse ourselves into it.
Swati is Vayu, air, life force and to scatter like the winds. It’s about following your own path, not the one society carves out for you. It’s giving yourself permission to evolve, grow and be an individual.
It’s a week that encourages you to let your freak flag fly. It’s seeking your own truth, making your own destiny, and finding your own path. It’s knowing what you want and allowing the winds to carry you there.
It’s a week of awakening to certain realities and truths that were hidden or eclipsed from you. If you were Neo from the Matrix, would you take the red or blue pill? Swati in many ways is a creator of worlds or new and unforeseen possibilities.
MONDAY
SUN ENTERS CANCER
Monday the Sun embarks upon the journey into the tropical zodiac sign of Cancer. The time of year where everything begins to bloom and you see the fruits of your labor of creation.
The Sun in Astrology points towards our experience in the world. The Sun illuminates a new house within your chart that turns the page to a new chapter in your life story.
Cancer is the sign of belonging, home, family, and our roots. It’s connected to our feelings towards all we experience in life. It captures our need for safety, security, and connection. Cancer is personal, it’s familiar and it’s protective like a mama bear of its cubs and territory.
So, Sun in Cancer is about getting in touch with your instincts, intuition, and your roots. It’s about personal cultivation and continued nurturing of all your working towards, making, and growing in life.
Emotions can rise high, repressed memories can be triggered in an attempt to aid you in remedying all that holds you back. Cancer’s have the biggest hearts and they hold onto their sorrows while being the shoulder everyone else cries on.
Collectively Cancer season is about focusing on your most important thing. It’s time for family, intimacy, and deep conversations. It’s time to learn, grow, and share your experiences. It takes a village to raise a child, and so much of this season is about strengthening your foundations. It’s nourishing your roots, your community, and your support system.
TUESDAY
MERCURY TURNS DIRECT
Tuesday, Mercury turns direct as we all get that reboot for the past few weeks update, upgrade and shift in perspective. Mercury will now spend a few weeks treading back over the same things that cropped up for you back in May.
When Mercury turns direct we re-enter the world with a new realization. It’s as if the world goes back online and Mercury gives the go-ahead to pass go. Communications go back online as Mercury is permitted to travel again between worlds.
What's interesting is that at the very time Mercury comes online, the Sun has moved into new territory.
Those who made commitments prior or big decisions during the retrograde may have second thoughts or look for loopholes out of prior arrangements. While new data, clarity, and understanding show you the path forward.
It's like being on the world's longest flight, the plane finally lands, and you're ushered out and off the plane. You still have a ways to go to get to your final destination, back through airport security, then luggage pick up, getting your ride, the drive, and checking into your hotel or accommodations... but you finally can think and see things clearly.
WEDNESDAY
MOON CONJUNCT KETU
Wednesday the holy spirit moves through you when the Moon connects to the South node. What with the Full Moon tomorrow, you might be made aware of the limiting beliefs you've carried with you, that do nothing more than block your path.
Ketu is not seen; it represents the hidden world, spirituality, and connection to all that came before. It's not materialistic like Rahu; it seeks not to consume but to purge and release.
The Full Moon is going to connect you with the progress of the goals you set at the start of the year. Ketu’s connection is almost showing you what’s prevented you from reaching the success or attainment of those goals.
THURSDAY
CAPRICORN FULL MOON
On Thursday, June 24, 19:39 UK time we have the Capricorn Full Moon. The Full Moon illuminates our karmic path.
Capricorn is the place within the cosmos that deals with our ambitions, trials, and place in the world. It’s the milestones we make in life. It’s what we strive toward, have deep-seated fears around, and what we take seriously.
So, if Full Moon’s are the illumination of things that are out of sight, hidden away, and kept secret. Then, Capricorn is the recognition, goal reached and returns on the efforts you’ve applied, that makes it all worthwhile.
Remember I said that Capricorn is everything that takes time. It deals with hard work, consistency, and what you’re dedicated to in life. So, think of this Full Moon as the Karate kid realizing just how strong he got from doing seemingly repetitive things.
WHAT IS THE FULL MOON
A Full Moon happens when the Sun and Moon sit opposite each other in the night sky. Once they connect at 180’ they bring our awareness to something we couldn’t see before at the time of the New Moon.
THE CAPRICORN FULL MOON
It’s not the Full Moon where you gain recognition for things you’ve NOT earned. It’s a Full Moon for seeing the results of whatever you’ve been working on. It brings your awareness to the consequences of your daily activity. What you do most, will be what you manifest.
Capricorn brings the energy of a goat or dragon, it’s climbing that mountain, and claiming your treasure. The energy is persistent, slow, it’s thought out, and determined to overcome anything.
WHAT THE CAPRICORN FULL MOON BRINGS
During the Full Moon, energy can feel challenging and things begin to come into focus. As she shrinks over the coming weeks we all begin to apply the remedies to the issues, and challenges we face, to help us better align to our long-term goals.
Let’s go back to the Karate Kid analogy. Daniel LaRusso (at the time of the Full Moon) realizes how strong he got. So, he can now defend himself. As the Moon shrinks again, he gets into a fight and realizes he still has more to learn. The Full Moon will show you how far you’ve come and the places you still need to work on.

FRIDAY & SATURDAY
MOON CONJUNCT PLUTO
Friday through Saturday, the Moon collides with Pluto unlocking hidden feelings and memories. You’ll likely receive some form of triggered memory or something buried, perhaps a truth you’ve neglected yourself will come to light.
You see, the human brain is an incredible machine. You never truly forget anything, it’s all stored in your brain just waiting to be reassessed like a computer searching for a misplaced file.
When the Moon collides with Pluto each month, you get a dose of cold hard truths, or hidden and forgotten things come back to light. The Moon, in many ways, acts like a heart, and you cannot hide from your true feelings, fears, and self.
Whatever is exposed will bring liberation and greater freedom. Don’t be afraid to take action, follow your heart, and be honest with yourself about what you actually need.
The Moon, when it connects to Pluto, is pushing you towards tapping into your hidden talent, repressed power, and towards a change. Allowing the pain of not accomplishing your goals drives you towards positive change to make them happen.
The Moon also looks towards Neptune, giving the confirmation that tasks that begin today, can aid you in turning dreams into a reality. Don’t be afraid of change, change is necessary for future progress.
SUNDAY
VENUS IN LEO
Sunday, Venus enters into Leo activating a new point of focus when it comes to love, money, and happiness. Venus is a planet that archetypally represents relationships of all kinds. It’s what we find value in, what brings us pleasure, and where we invest ourselves, time, and resources into.
Venus in Leo will activate in different aspects and areas of life depending on your rising sign. I'll be posting about this during the weekend.
Venus in Leo encourages us all to get really serious about what we want out of life. Its energy is enthralled about what light’s you up, captivates, and creates a single point of focus to all you desire.
Venus in Leo is a love story for the ages, a classic and classy love. It’s refined, quality, and all that's luxurious. It’s the fine arts, culture, and hotspot destinations. It’s lusty, protective and some could say possessive and controlling in the pursuit of all you love.
So the question is, what do you want, how bad do you want it, and what’s your plan to get it?

The week highlights the goals you set at the start of the year and how far along are you in achieving said goals. It’s a week that calls you to acknowledge what’s actually holding you back, and keeps preventing you from obtaining the goals you set.
The week will reveal a shocking truth, it’ll present changing circumstances and it will ask for you to dig deep.
