Let me walk you through the weekly Horoscope for February 1, 2021, until February 7.

We'll cover this week's Nakshatra, the 3/4 Moon in Scorpio, Sun conjunct Jupiter and square Mars. Moon opposite Uranus and Mars, and then finishing off with the card of the week.

The week begins under the Nakshatra of Uttara Phalguni. The one that's about the reality of relationships and all that comes after the credits roll.

Moon Opposite Neptune | under a spell

The week begins with the Moon finishing its dance with Neptune, the planet of mystique, magic, spirituality and romance. Awakening from the spell cast upon us, illusions begin to dissipate as everything around us stops spinning. We can finally start to catch our breath and see things clearly.

Moon in Virgo - NOTHING in life IS PERFECT, but I'll try hard to make it be.

The Moon in Virgo, setting the tone for the week, is infused with neurotic energy. You see, Mercury is in Rx, bringing up an over anticipating expectation, of all that could take place.

Trying to make everything just right, picture-perfect, is and will be, a total waste of your energies this week. The ruler of Virgo, Mercury, is Retrograde, it's about doing less, simplifying things not doing more.

Release all expectations for how you want the week to be or how you want something to go. Eliminate things from your schedule this week to lighten the load, and limit the amount you have on your plate throughout your day-to-day.

UTTARA PHALGUNI

All that happens after the happily ever after

Uttara Phalguni being the Nakshatra to set off the week, is about bringing things back down to reality. Purva Phalguni, the one that came before this one, was the ideal, all that could be and the intent behind the coming together with another.

Uttara Phalguni is all that comes next after the credits roll to your favourite movie. It's all that happens after the lead character gets there, happily ever after. The Moon breaks away from Neptune, and by Tuesday things begin to get a whole lot clearer.

ALL relationships require effort, and Uttara Phalguni shows you the reward of that effort, of all the work you put into your connections. It shows you how to stay committed and what needs to be done.

Uttara Phalguni wants to make it work and has a lot to teach us about relationships and successful commitments. The reality of love, of a truly successful relationship, is that it requires work and effort.

The honeymoon phase will soon, but be over, and now you need to merge your real lives to make it sustainable. Love and passion need not fade with time if you work on building a solid friendship.

Another message of the week is that you need not journey through life alone when you embrace Uttara Phalguni's lessons. Everything in life comes through others, building and taking the time to forge quality friendships will always bring reward.

In summary, someone might not be who they say they are. Nobody is perfect, and placing people on a pedestal or trying to make them into something they're not will only lead to your own disappointment.

I believe this week is saying to see beneath and into the heart of a person. To honour your commitments and promises to be a friend first. Nobodies perfect, not you, not me, not them. Show understanding, practising honesty is a requirement this week.

Listen to what people, friends, your lover or even mother is trying to tell you. Just listen. Don't speak, allow someone to open up and really hear what they have to say.

How do you know who your real friends are?

Well, you know someone is a true friend when your dreams become theirs. Not because they want what you want, but because they want it for you, as much as you do. It goes both ways, the phalguni people in your life can make some of the best friends and lovers.

Mercury Retrograde 2021

UPDATING YOUR PERSPECTIVE ON SOMETHING

As you know, Mercury went retrograde at the end of last week. We're now embracing all that'll resurface for us within the Aquarian realm of truth, friendship and morals.

Jupiter Conjunct Sun

THE MISSIONARY MEETS THE KING

Around the middle of last week (27/1), the Sun crossed paths with the missionary Jupiter, divulging new insights and inspiring you further on your journey.

When Jupiter and the Sun cross paths in life, it's often a time when we receive what feels like divine intervention. You might learn something important, that proves essential later on. It could be that someone reaches out, and they have what you need to proceed along your path.

The missionary offers you something more than you already have, they bring you something that will expand your perspective, viewpoint or even just shine a light of awareness at a situation you've been dealing with recently.

Bringing it back to the theme of the last week in search and seeking. It just might be last Wednesday through last Friday, perhaps last Saturday, depending on where you are in the world, that brought you a saving grace, that presented the information or knowhow to whatever you've been looking for.

Sun Square Mars

GOING ROGUE/UNLEASH THE HULK

There's a lot of hard-hitting stuff taking place around the 4th. When the Sun squares Mars, it's like when a soldier or the general does not follow orders.

When Sun/Mars Square, it's often, when something sets you off, unleashing your inner hulk. People in positions of authority or power tend to push their wants and demands on those they can, simply because they can—ego trip.

Patience is needed, but you'll likely want to jump the gun. You'll make a risky call based on your best judgement but do you have all the facts or are you acting irrationally or coming from an emotionally triggered place.

Things are unlikely to go to plan, remember the starting point, Moon in Virgo nothing will be perfect. Well, this week things may not go as you expected, just don't lose your cool.

It's not the time to go against those in power or authority, the Sun trumps Mars, The King can always get more soldiers or appoint a new general. Play by the rules doesn't mean you cannot be a total badass, just think with your head first.

At the very least purge your frustrations, break a few plates, go for a run or pound a punching bag then approach the situation with a clear vision.

Mars is under the influence of Bharani, death, destruction, justice and Karma. I'm saying to air on the edge of caution because you don't want to put yourself or others in danger. When you go about it the right way the situation will be worked out, justice will be served, nobody is about Yama.

Take responsibility for your actions, and if you don't, consequences will ensue.

Moon Opposite Uranus

A SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM/SURPRISING THINGS

The Moon dances with Uranus on Thursday, bringing a shock to the system or just something surprising. It gives vibes of a jack in the box or walking through a haunted house, a classic jump scare around any corner experience.

It's another transit that can make you take action without much forethought, especially as Mars is close by. It's a flight or fight response, how you respond in the moment.

Uranus is moving through Ashwini, the one that's about swift action in the pursuit of attaining a goal. I would advise against taking short cuts right now. Mercury always works with Uranus and being as Mercury is Rx, you should plan first, instead of impulsively jumping into something that could get you in trouble later on.

Blind trust or faith in someone could lead you down the wrong path. Mercury's Retrograde so there are no shortcuts, ignore anyone who tries to sell you one.

Moon Opposite Mars

IT TAKES TWO TO TANGO!

Moon tangos with Mars on Thursday, bringing up feelings of frustration, anger or wanting to take action. What you want and what someone else wants might clash around this time.

Passion can arise, but also your actions can hurt someone else's feelings, so tact is very much needed. All in all, someone or a situation is likely to test your patience, learn from this experience.

Bringing back to the theme of the week in sustainable relationships, compromise is needed. Try to resist the urge to be selfish, and if someone else is being stubborn, you might be best in allowing them to cool off before you get to a resolution.

A RADICAL CHANGE, PURGING THE OLD STRUCTURES IN YOUR LIFE FOR THEY'RE OUTDATED AND HOLD YOU BACK FROM FULFILLING YOUR POTENTIAL.

The Third quarter square of the Moon takes place Thursday 4, 17:37 GMT (click here to convert to your time zone).

The third quarter Square of the Moon is the final 90' aspect the Moon makes to the Sun before beginning a new cycle. It points to the final lessons or part of the story where you overcome the challenge that gets to the fresh start or the thing you want.

It points to the week's energy encouraging you to remove all that's standing in your way. What's not working in your life anymore? It's time to release, heal and move past the stuff that's taking up space in our lives.

We're entering into a fixed square, being under tropical Scorpio Moon and Aquarius Sun. Honesty is what binds this, not just with yourself but with those in your life, a, coming clean, letting the truth set you free.

It's revolutionary, wanting to make a big change or needing to create one. It might be that time when you come out of whatever closet you've been in, liberating yourself. You can no longer hide your heart.

The fear of change may have kept you stuck, or perhaps it was fear of being misunderstood, annihilated that kept you firmly in the closet. It might even be that you wanted to fit in, so you succumbed to the societal pressures to conform, and now you're like "screw it".

Scorpio is fear, change, power and one's demons or shadow self. Aquarius is truth, equality, community, the outcasts of the one that gives zero f**ks. Whatever you've been hiding (Scorpio secret life), is about to spill over (water bearer) into the other life.

Whatever goal you set around the new Moon (read post here), that seed you planted showed you something you knew in your heart to be true at the full Moon (read post here).

Now you're asked to make a radical change in the pursuit of what you want most, with the third quarter moon. Only you need to be open and honest, you cannot have two separate lives, there will be a melding of the two. At the very least, an awareness that the other exists.

Venus Conjunct Saturn

THE REALITY OF LOVE

Venus is the planet of relationships, values, desire and money colliding with Saturn (from Friday until next Wednesday) has been known to symbolise the power couple.

It's not a romance in the traditional sense, but one that serves a higher calling, one of duty and responsibility that comes, before the relationship itself.

Think high society, sure you can have an epic romance, but there's always an expectation, duty and family legacy to consider. Love is a luxury that those in positions of power cannot afford. It breads its own seduction, but one that has more strings than a 10-foot ball of yarn.

If a relationship or a commitment is not going to go somewhere long term, then there's not a single point in being in one. These connections are forged in stone, they hold promise, longevity and fidelity.

A transit in astrology that can test your commitments and promises to those you love, friendships, relationships and business partnerships in kind. How committed are you? Have you promised something you know, in your heart you cannot keep?

If you're not honourable, honest and dedicated to a future, then you can expect that connection to break down. You cannot be allowed to have your cake and eat it too. There's always an expectation, and so it can bring disappointments if your expectations were not realistic.

Fate and Karma are stepping in when it comes to this arena of life. Know that what's about to happen will bring proud changes. It all feels as if it was always going to be this way.

SIX OF CUPS - HANGED MAN - 10 OF SWORDS

You'll come to realise this week that someone is not who you think they are. People change, they experience things in their life that evolve them. Expecting people from your past to be, exactly as they were, is an unrealistic expectation.

Be prepared to have your view of the world tipped over on its head. All you thought you knew is just one narrative that you bought into, unwilling to see the signs that were there all along. Things are about to radically change, and that's a good thing.

It's a week to let go of past ideals. You can keep the good memories but try not to live in the past. Instead, be who you are now, today. Listen, show understanding and compassion.

Where all on this transitional journey of going from here to there. None of us has arrived at our destination, we're all just on our way. Each moment, shaping us into the next phase of life. Support those you love this week.

Allow people to show you who they are and then decide if they hold a place in your future, on your plane to where you're going. The future is bright, you cannot bring everything and everyone will you. It's not how life works.

Show gratitude and thanks for the good and the bad and begin your journey forward. Leave your judgements at the door and just listen. We often put people on pedestals, placing unfair expectations that they'll end up bringing disappointment. The past is the past, and this is right now.

So, what, someone isn't who you thought they were, or who they said they were. You learn you grow, and the only way now is forward. Most people do not wish to intentionally cause you pain and heartbreak.

Most people just don't know how to deal with things that they hide stuff. Then that lie festers, darkening and staining the purity of the connection. People inherently want to be liked, wanted and accepted.

Some people hide, lie, elaborate to add sparkle on something they believe will be seen as ordinary. Then, when that person eventually slips, because let's face it, it's hard work pretending to be someone or something your not, that, and the fact that the truth always comes out in the end. They end up hurting and disappointing you… the very thing that they wanted to avoid in the first place.

You cannot hide from who you are. Who you are is perfect, there's nobody like you, and that's beautiful. The truth always comes out, things will always get revealed at some point or another. Honesty is the foundation of any relationship. The moment you lie, the path turns.

Coming clean and taking responsibility is critical this week.

To summarise, this week will bring about some powerful realisations about your relationships, your life and the world we all live in. It will inspire significant change and further break down limited, old, past structures that have no place in our society or world any longer.

Change always starts with the self. You matter, you cannot change what others do, say or feel, but you can lead by example. Create the world you want to live in, with small conscious, intentional actions.
