We begin the week under Magha, which quickly shifts into Purva Phalguni, one of the comic lovers under the influence of the ¾ square of the Moon.

The ¾ square of the Moon falls in between the Eclipses on Monday Evening. A time where we see the error of our ways in what’s working and not working for us. The week in many ways gives signs and information on how best we should proceed forward. It presents a turn in the tides as changes will need to be initiated.

Beginning under Magha, there’s a need to connect to ourselves and ancestors much more deeply. What have we been neglecting to acknowledge, and have we been authentic with what we’ve set out to accomplish? Thinking too big, too small or not big enough.

The week whines down in preparation for the New Moon next week. It’s okay to change your mind, to let go of perfectionism and being overly critical of whatever you set out to do at the time of the last New Moon, November 15.

You could feel the build-up of pressure to see something through to completion, but the ¾ taking place between eclipses really is giving you permission to change courses. After all, Eclipses pull situations outside of all control, ruled solely by fate and destiny. If it’s not something in your heart that’s right for you now, then let yourself off the hook. The ¾ Moon is clearing space for the new path ahead. It’s detailed analysis versus the bigger picture of what can you do this week that will align you with future goals. Sometimes we have to let go of something to give space for something else to grow.
