MOON IN LEO
LIGHTING UP YOUR LIFE
The Moon in Leo sets the tone for the week, bringing themes around talent, inspiration and an air of the theatrics. Ruled by the Sun, the planet of the soul, success and your role within society, the week can center around focusing on your goals, career and ambitions.
Leo energy is power, it represents a consistent burning fire, it’s pure prowess, creativity and charisma. Leo energy brings the need for recognition, an audience, to be the best and playfulness.
Leo energy is like that of a movie. It's exciting, captivating, and everything about it draws you in. It’s active and engaging storytelling. Leo is love, the rhyme and reason for all things.
When you’re in the energy of Leo you’re in the arena of magnetism, whatever captivates your eyes, be it the arts, fine wines, foods and luxury living. Leo is the sign of royalty, and the power and prestige that comes from associations. It’s extravagant, and connects to our reason for being. It prides itself on being high class, high quality and being the best.
Leo is flashy, it’s ego driven, charming and desired. Leo is about embracing the inner child, it’s about having fun and enjoying life. Leo is the sign that ‘s about being unapologetically you. It connects to all that's good in life, the experiences, love, passion and doing the stuff that lights you up.
Weeks that begin under the sway of Leo, bring a need to not dismiss the good in your life. It’s very much about taking the time to smell the roses. What do you love? Make sure you take the time to do more of what you love.
ASHLESHA
THE CHURNING OF INNER DESIRE!
The week begins under Ashlesha, the Lunar mansion of seduction, temptation and desire. Ashlesha awakens us to our true desires and its energy will transcend through the week. Many of us live our lives waiting for a single moment to make a change, to start living it.
Ashlesha is hypnotic, magnetic and seductive energy that creates a yearning for something. The week surrounding desire, wanting to have something but also feeling held back from it. We decide what happens with our choices, and so Ashlesha say’s why wait for the “right” moment, why not make that right moment now.
It brings a need to escape the confines of control placed on you or keeping you from what you seek to experience. Ashlesha is represented by the coiled snake, a want to shed one’s skin to emerge anew. You are the ruler of your own heart and mind and the master of your fate. Ashlesha reaffirms this during the week.
What I will say is weeks under this influence can breed toxic manipulation. It might appear through someone churning your desire to get you to acknowledge what it is you seek and that you’re denying yourself from having. It could be that because it’s getting you to do something pulling out your inner desires, you feel out of control of what your heart yearns for.
Ashlesha week’s are phenomenal for overcoming your adversaries and opponents. Governed by the Nagas, beings that live deep underground, a power that lies within each of us, and so much mystery lies within the week ahead.
It’s wise to note that not all is as it seems to be, a hidden desire, urge or impulse lies just beneath the skin waiting to be awoken. It can also bring a change to your Leo House, like a shin shedding to bring something you desire forth.
Ashlesha is governed or influenced by the Planet Mercury which late Sunday, moved into Cancer, of which we discuss further down in the post. Check to see where you natal Mercury falls as it can activate something connected to that house.

MONDAY
MOON, VENUS & MARS CONJUNCTION
On Monday, Venus and Mars intensify as they conjunct exactly with the Moon while looking at Saturn sitting directly opposite.
The divine feminine meets the divine masculine do you have what it takes to get all you’ve ever dreamed of… the pursuit of happiness begins.
Sunday into the new week can for sure bring a significant breakthrough and strong foundation for all that’s initiated. I’ll start with my interpretation of what this could potentially bring about. Then I’ll break things down.
We’ll break it down to understand what each planet represents.
MOON, VENUS & MARS CONJUNCT
So when you bring the two benefits with Mars, you get some emotional drama, complicated relationships, passion, confusion, and not wanting to ruin a good thing.
Mars has to choose. He cannot have both. He shares an emotional connection with one and passion and a lot of fun with the other. Furthermore, Saturn is looking right at him, choose one or lose them both.
It’s a One Tree Hill Lucas, Peyton, and Brooke love triangle when Hayley caught Lucus kissing Peyton, who is definitely not Brooke.
But hold up, Saturn is Rx… So it’s not even the first big Tree Hill love triangle drama. It's the time when Lucus chooses Brooke, but months later, there was that shooting in the school, and he saves Peyton, and it awakens old feelings.
Saturn Rx is essentially looming in with the past mistakes, saying you’ve been here before, so what did you learn last time?
Essentially, you could find yourself in a seemingly similar situation that brings up a chapter of your love story. As tempting as it is to fall into bad habits, it cautions against them. It shows you the promise of all that could be if you take a more calculated and thought-out approach to the circumstances about to unfold.
WHAT IS THE MOON
The Moon has no light of its own; it relies solely on the Sun’s solar rays to illuminate and shine. It’s how we respond to what is being shown to us.
The Sun will draw your attention to a specific area of life. The transiting Moon will show your experience of the events and experiences that have been activated.

Leo is royalty, regal, and seeks to own whatever it’s true heart desires. So whatever brings you joy and whatever pleasure you have in life can burn bright now, as the planet of such things falls in the all-powerful Leo.
WHAT IS MARS
Mars is the planet of purposeful action, motivation, and willpower. Mars is the god of war, what you’re willing to stand and fight for. It’s our ambitions, courage, and basic survival instincts.
Mars represents men in the same way Venus represents women. As the expression goes, Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.
Mars is the natural ruler of Aries and Scorpio. As he moves around the zodiac, Mars holds influence to the Aries and Scorpio houses within your horoscope, as well as from your natal Mars position.
MARS IN LEO
When Mars makes his journey into the royal palace of Leo, we can all become a little more proud, boastful, and self-driven. We feel the boost of vitality to protect, procreate, show off and claim what our hearts desire.
Mars in Leo can feel like a live-action show, the need to perform, create, play, dance, and make stuff happen. Leo’s are natural performers, they can do well when the heat is on, and It’s time to take action.
You could say that Mars under this Zodiac Sign is ego-driven. You want to protect your prized possession, creation, status, title, or position in life.
Mars in Leo can awaken and trigger what our hearts yearn for and what we truly desire. To the point where we feel compelled to take action. In other ways, we may become increasingly aggressive to threats around our actions, to our children, our projects, relationships, and sexual performance or endurance.
Essentially, your Leo house gets hot, you’re motivated to conquer, overcome past setbacks, and claim what you want with relevance to the House he transits (Leo). You’re more driven to win, succeed and go after your Leo house goals.
WHAT IS SATURN
Saturn is the planet of boundaries, limitations, and the rules and regulations by which society is governed. Saturn is the last visible planet meaning that he is the gatekeeper to all that's unknown and resides outside our world. It’s the wall that separates our reality and all that resides beyond it.
Saturn is the structure of society, It’s the systems in place that keep order and control, and he represents our bones. It’s the heavy rocks, and it represents fear, darkness in some senses, and hard lessons. Let’s say It’s not a warm cuddly planet like Jupiter, It is strict, cold, and impenetrable.
SATURN RX
When Saturn is Rx It's when the sensei tests us. How much have you learned about what you’ve experienced? How strong is what you’ve built up until this point?
Saturn when it entered Aquarius (late last year). It tested the foundation on which everything the last 30 years was built. It can break shit down to rebuild stronger and better. Saturn is the planet of longevity, and what it builds is intended to last.
Think of Saturn as an architect revisiting her creation, testing to ensure it’s stable and secure. When it goes Rx, it tests what you’ve built, the reinforcements you’ve made to see if they can really stand the tests of time.
Saturn Rx says STOP BUILDING. It wants you to restructure, re-establish and strengthen what you’ve built up until this point. In architecture, the foundations are always the longest to build if you have weak a foundation the entire thing will fall down. Saturn wants to ensure this doesn’t happen, so he presents you with a quality control check. A test and lesson from something that you’ve experienced.
Saturn is retrograde right now under Shravana, and It’s about listening, hearing, and the act of acquiring knowledge. Shravana asks for you to question what you know, how you know it, and your experience of it.
It’s about breaking boundaries down to connect. It seeks to dissolve the labels that prompt segregation and separation and instead see’s beyond those walls to connect on a human level. It’s about embracing and infusing different cultures, beliefs, and religions, in search of what’s the same as opposed to what makes us all different.
WHAT IS A CONJUNCTION
In Astrology, a Conjunction is when two planets kiss, connect, merge and join forces. It’s like a Tarantino movie, mixing two genre types together to make something unique.
MOON CONJUNCT VENUS
When the Moon and Venus join together, they bring love, enjoyment, and a good time for all.
Venus is the planet that represents our values, desires, tastes, and money. She, of course, is the goddess of love and relationships, both of which are the ultimate resource in life. After all, everything in life and all things come through others.
Moon is the experience, it’s what we need, it’s comfortable and deals with emotions. The Moon is the divine mother, nurturing, wise, and has the capacity to create life. It’s all we feel based on what we experience.
So, when the two benefic planets like Venus and Moon join together (conjunct), you can expect it to bring a day of love, emotional fulfillment, and total bliss. Even though It’s getting shade from Saturn, which can sometimes bring about themes of delays, setbacks, duty, responsibility, and boundaries. It should still bring something rewarding in the long term.
MOON CONJUNCT MARS
Sunday is a powerful and motivational day. The Moon collides with Mars after spending some time with the node of destiny earlier in the week.
We all can find the courage needed to push forward and smite the negativity and blockages that stand in our way. The Moon colliding with Mars is about strength and tenacity to do what is needed to reach our goal and cut away all that stands to hold us back.
If you do not address the stuff that came up earlier in the week, then I’m afraid this energy can be like a loaded gun. You’ll feel the pressure building so intensely that you won’t be able to
contain it, and it can lead to a leakage of explosive emotional reactions.
MOON OPPOSITE SATURN
When the Moon sits directly opposite the Sensei, Saturn. It's unlikely you'll receive the pat on the back you've been hoping for.
It begs the question of why are you doing what you do? Is it that you seek validation or recognition? Saturn's tough and doesn't want you to show off or feel the need to prove yourself to others. It can come off as cold, but it teaches you that the only opinion that should matter is the one you have of yourself.
Saturn brings tough love. It trains you, so you don't have to fight or struggle. You fight for life, not for points - Mr. Myiagi. It's time you can feel isolated, disappointed through lack of support. In truth, it's just another lesson, so you can learn to stand on your own two feet.
Every month, the Moon sits across from Saturn, and every month you put into practice the lesson Saturn bestows upon you. Sure it can cause conflict at home with authority figures, and it can dishearten you.
Any Sensei will tell you that you never fight when you're emotional. You fight only for life, for what matters most. You fight smart and from the heart, never out of emotions. Saturn looking upon Moon and Moon looking upon Saturn is about cooling off and being your own pillar of support.
You might feel under-appreciated, not supported, or unloved. It brings you back to the question, why do you do it?
If you're doing something to get something, then you're not coming from the right space. If you do something, let it be because you genuinely wish to do it, not because you hope to gain something from it. It's through this approach that you avoid disappointment.
Again, don't do anything for points, do only for yourself. It's like vanity metrics on social media, people living for likes, doing things for views, and when it all goes away, they feel as if they have nothing.
You're not a monkey in a circus, doing things for claps and treats. Come from a place true of heart, and the rewards you gain will be better than you can even imagine. When you put good into the world, good finds its way back to you. It needs to be honest, though. Allow your actions to come from a place of wanting to do it without expectation for gain.\
MARS OPPOSITE SATURN RX
A few weeks back, I spoke about the sneak asteroids that came close to hitting the earth. The NASA simulation showed if this was to happen, they wouldn’t be ready to stop it.
I also mentioned how the news of Aliens and UFOs is now becoming mainstream news. It was cloaked and hidden from the masses that UFOs and aliens were even real, being such a taboo subject. It’s public knowledge, thanks to Jupiter in Satabhisha station Rx right now.
So If Saturn is the defense system, the law, and order, barrier, and boundaries to our world. If Mars is a force of nature, hot, sharp, and can destroy… then this opposition could provide powerful breakthroughs.
Mars is a force that’s ready for action and always ready to go. Saturn is slow and steady, everything at the right time. This push is happening or in the making to birth something new. To where maybe something old needs to be broken down to make something strong.
VENUS CONJUNCT MARS
When Mars and Venus come together, it’s like when a man and a woman come together. There’s potential for union, heightened passions, and orgasmic experiences. The effects of this conjunction will depend on your personal chart and planets and how they are activating your horoscope.
In some cases, it can create an explosive reaction, sexual tension, arguments, and disagreements if the two energies are not in balance. It might manifest as someone trying to dominate or control you. It might also play out as you being the one trying to control or dominate someone else.
Mainly, we’re all more motivated and drive towards the things that bring us pleasure in life. It’s the pursuit of happiness and how hard we’re willing to work to get there.
Are you willing to put in the work to cultivate the body you dream of having? Are you willing to fight for the ones you love? Are you prepared to stand up for your values?
It is the melding of divine masculine and feminine coming together. You cannot have one without the other. For Mars and Venus to come together, there needs to be trust, vulnerability, and openness. To not be just Venusian or just Marian, but integrate both aspects.
It means asking for what you want, being honest with what makes you happy. It requires courage to speak up and go after what you want. It’s about not being too passive or too assertive, whichever one you fall most dominant toward. It’s creating a safe space where both can come together to create something powerful.
TUESDAY
MERCURY ENTERS CANCER
On Sunday, July 11, 2021, around 21:26 PM UK time, Mercury moves into the Tropical Sign of Cancer. Mercury will be in Cancer until July 28, 2021, when Mercury shifts into Leo.
WHAT IS MERCURY
Mercury in the worlds of Astrology points to where we go on the regular. It’s how we get our information, therefore connecting with conversation, social media, the internet and even newspapers or magazines.
Mercury is our mind, or the part of our mind that processes and expresses our thoughts, ideas and feelings to the world. Mercury is our own little messenger living inside our minds, helping us get from point a to point b.
MERCURY TRANSIT CANCER
Mercury in Cancer can at first be a little emotionally reactive, responding to the world in an instinctual way.
Cancer is our origin point, it connects with things like home, security and belonging. Mercury can portray a crabby way of saying stuff. You’re in your internal world, going through things, and Mercury doesn’t really know how to deal with all the outside stuff on top of that.
The good thing about Mercury moving through this stormy Cancer is that you can begin to process the bits and pieces you’ve repressed over time. Mercury is fast and Cancer’s ruler, Moon is fast. This means you’re going through a million emotions, feelings and situations on any given day.
Cancer wants to feel safe, to belong and to feel nurtured. Mercury wants to know stuff, the how, the what and why. So Mercury in Cancer can do wonders for getting to the bottom of things in your past.
You might find yourself saying things like, do you remember when… or, getting sentimental over something that reminds you of something else. Mercury is literally moving through your memory palace, picking up the things in your lost and found, and relocating them to their rightful place.
Wherever Mercury goes your mind will follow.
WEDNESDAY
MOON OPPOSITE NEPTUNE
Wednesday, the Moon dances with Neptune, the planet of mystique, magic, spirituality and romance. Awakening from the spell cast upon us, illusions begin to dissipate as everything around us stops spinning. We can finally start to catch our breath and see things clearly.
Under this influence, you can be easily fooled, deceived and tricked into believing something that may not be what you think it is. On more positive notes, you enter into the world of possibility, where faith and trust are required to see you through.
When the Moon looks upon Neptune, It can make anyone a little hypersensitive and loopy. You might pick up on other peoples subtleties where you usually would not. The Moon and Neptune can create a lot of confusion, but you awaken as if from a dream once the transit has passed.
THURSDAY
SUN OPPOSITE PLUTO RX
Thursday, we have the Sun and Pluto in opposition to one another. The Sun is you, your experience and identity, and Pluto being all that’s buried beneath, secrets and power.
When we look at oppositions, we can view them like the reflection in the mirror that looks back at you. You can view oppositions as the world mirroring something back to you that you’ve neglected to see.
The Sun opposes Pluto once a year, so you can think back to cancer season last year and what was brought forth for you then. In truth Pluto is Rx, it’s energy is going to be felt much more potently than if it was not.
When Pluto Rx looks to the Sun, it’s bringing a truth about yourself out into the open. It might be something that creates a much needed shift for you in your life. It could bring a transformation as a result of what comes forward, and liberates you from something that’s been keeping you stuck.
The Sun is what’s unfolding in life right now, it’s the chapter in our story, you can view the Cancer Season post for more on that. The Sun is you, it can connect to our ego, the labels we have, title, status, career and position in life.
Pluto is not something that is necessarily tangible, it resides in a space not seen with the eyes. It represents truths, secrets, fears, power and control, the stuff that keeps things under wraps.
When these two energies get into it, they’re uncovering something about yourself, around your deep past and setting you free from it. When you shine a light into the darkness, the shadows dissipate. Sometimes what’s needed for healing is awareness of the thing itself.
When you face something scary it loses all power it has over you. I believe this opposition is providing that opportunity for us all to dissipate the ghosts that’ve been haunting us and following us around.
It’s not an easy, or fun connection, when these two planets create, but it is a necessary one. It might manifest as a crisis, the rug being pulled from beneath you. It might be that you have to reclaim your power as someone tries to manipulate or control you in some way.
Pluto’s energy is something that’s done out of sight, it doesn’t exist in the reality we reside. It’s energy can connect to us of course, but it is us who hold the power. Nobody can control you, but you. People only have power over you because you allow them to. There is always a choice, it’s just about choosing the choice that best aligns with our long term objective.
FRIDAY
MOON OPPOSITE CHIRON
Friday, sensitivities can heighten as the Moon and Chiron opposite each other.
The Moon sits opposite Chiron every 28 days and provides a triggering experience to release to let go of things that we’ve been too hard on ourselves with. We can feel partially triggered by a reminder of what happened once before.
Vulnerability rises up when Chiron is activated, but at the same time it provides the key to personal growth and our own evolution.
When Chiron and Moon look at each other the internal world can feel raw and triggered. Wounds from the past can be triggered, that test us to see if you’ve moved past such things. A time we’re called to forgive and forget so we might allow ourselves to heal and move forward.
It can be when we reenact a fear we have in our relationships with others. Try not to let insecurities and vulnerabilities get in the way of a good thing. Be open about how you feel and what and why you feel scared or fearful.
SATURDAY
MOON TRINE JUPITER
Saturday, we have the Moon and Jupiter in a beautiful and magical aspect with one another. The Moon is your feelings around all you experience, and Jupiter being the Gene from Aladdin expanding whatever it touches.
When we look at trines, we can view them like the weave of magic, permitting things to pass through, like a stream or a river flowing; its energy is always there.
Think of it like water that comes from your tap; you don’t see it or question it, and when you go to turn on the tap, it’s there, in abundance and ready for you to use as you please.
Jupiter is like something going viral on social media. Whatever Jupiter touches, it grows, expands, and blows well out of proportion. Jupiter gives you more of something; he represents children, learning, belief, and travel, to name but a few things.
Again Jupiter is in a "trine" to the Moon, bringing opportunity, inspiration, and creativity your way. I guess you can think of it as a sort of conception, more of an idea that could grow into something more. Still, it’s the bringer of opportunity and expansion, so be mindful of the emotion you most frequent today.
SUNDAY
MOON OPPOSITE URANUS
Sunday the Moon dances with Uranus, bringing a shock to the system or just something surprising. It gives vibes of a jack in the box or walking through a haunted house, a classic jump scare around any corner experience.
Uranus is moving through Bharani, the one that's about death, judgement and consequences of actions. I would advise against taking short cuts right now. Mercury always works with Uranus and as Mercury is now in Cancer, you should take a moment for emotions to simmer down before rushing into things.
Blind trust or faith in someone could lead you down the wrong path. There are no shortcuts, ignore anyone who tries to sell you one.
LAST WORDS
The week we get the first hurdle to something that was set in motion around the New Moon on the 11th July. There’s no hiding from your heart, from what you desire and all you deny yourself this week. It serves as a gentle reminder to stop waiting for the perfect time, and create your moment to begin now.
The week will show you what you want out of life, it might bring up fears and insecurities around your ability to have it. But, it is a week that opens the window of opportunity should you decide to face your inner demons and claim the life you desire to live.
